Dr. Reham Mohsen studies focused on the design, synthesis, characterisation and applications of polymeric environmental responsive micro and nanogels. The applications she targets include drug delivery, dental applications as well as industrial ones. Her work has yielded several publications in highly ranked journals, one of which was featured by the Advances in Engineering team in Canada as a publication that contributes to Excellence in Science and Engineering. To achieve this work, she mastered several synthesis and characterisation techniques such as synthesis of colloidal environmental responsive particles, Dynamic Light Scattering, Ultra-violet Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Infra-red Spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, Fluorescence Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Energy Dispersive X-ray Chromatography, rheology, cell culture and toxicity testing.
She is currently a Lecturer of Chemistry and Nanotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology at MSA University and also supervise several Masters and undergraduate students.
