Tarik founded
Nanum, one of the first nano spin-off company in Brazil, in 2003, still as an
undergraduate physics student (UFMG). Before, he graduated and worked as an
electro-electronic and automation technician (CEFET-MG). In the early years of
Nanum, he worked as a consultant for various companies and in multiple areas
such as stell-glass welding. Also special glass fabrication; vacuum acrylic
recycling process; sol-gel thin films for glasses application; freeze-drying
process; growth of antimony monocrystals for medicine probes; Ag/AgCl
electrodes fabrication; nano metal oxides synthesis, functionalization, and
fabrication at laboratory, small and large scale.
