Akiko Uno is a lecturer in the Nursing Department at Chukyo Gakuin University, and a visiting researcher in the Environment and Health Science Hokkaido, Japan.
After she received the master of community health at University of New South Wales in Australia, she continued the research in Public Health, Department of Medicine, at Hokkaido University in Japan. For nearly 20 years she has researched in the area of perinatal depression domestically and internationally.
