Title: Transit Oriented Development and Road Safety
Prerna is Associate Director - Urban Development at WRI India. She is an Urbanist with 16 years of extensive experience in Project Management, Urban research and planning, real estate, architecture, academics and capacity building. She conducts the urban development work on advancing sustainable development in Indian cities to enable on-ground impactful interventions and knowledge building. Her current work is around integration of land use and transport, Climate Smart Cities, Public Spaces, Tactical Urbanism, Form Based Codes, Safe access, Local Area planning, Land Value Capture, Awareness Initiatives like Raahgiri, Formulation as well review of National and City level Policies, Regulations and Toolkits and capacity building. She provides technical inputs to various committees, reports and policies anchored by city, state, and national governments in India.
