João Eduardo De Araujo has completed his Ph.D from Ribeirão Preto Philosophy School of the University of São Paulo (USP). Since 2004 he has been Associate Professor in the Health Sciences Department of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the USP. He is a Researcher and Supervisor of Rehabilitation and Functional Performance Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo. He concluded the Acupuncture specialization course in 1996. Published more than 40 papers in peer review journals and today is the chair of the Brazilian Society of the Physiotherapist's Acupuncturists in the São Paulo State.
